What we collect
What we hold:
- names on your invitation, and any guest you add
- your email, and phone number if you give one
- your postal address, if we post you an invitation
- who’s coming each day
- dietary needs and allergies
- visa letter requests, songs and messages
One essential cookie remembers your invitation for 60 days. We briefly keep a hashed IP address to limit code guessing. No tracking cookies.
Dietary and allergy details
Optional. These can count as health data, so we handle them carefully and use them only for the catering. Remove them to withdraw consent.
Why
To plan the wedding and keep you updated (legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest). We never sell your data.
Who sees it
Only us. The caterers and venue get names and dietary notes, never contact details.
Our processors: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Gmail or Resend (email). Data held outside the UK has UK-law safeguards.
How long we keep it
We delete all replies, dietary details included, by 12 September 2027 (three months after the wedding).
Your rights
Ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or change it yourself on the reply form. To complain, contact the ICO at ico.org.uk.
